That’s why God created blankets and fingers. My folk were both child psychologists and I remember being packed in the back of the family Rambler to see The Blob.

No movie has scared me more than the 1963 film "The Haunting!** The remake, with all of it’s special effects was lame.

Skræling was only used to refer to the native people that Norse settlers and explorers encountered in Greenland, Helluland, Markland and Vinland. Most people who translate Old Norse into English, if they bother to translate the word at all, use the English word wretches, even though the original texts don’t seem to use the word pejoritively; its etymology is disputed, and it’s the only surviving word thaat belongs uniquely to the Greenland dialect of Old Norse. In modern Icelandic, the word has been preserved as meaning both barbarian and foreigner; in the non-insular Nordic languages it means weakling.Arnold Schwarzenegger would probably use it to mean “girly-man” if the word existed in Austrian German, but in Austria, they’re more likely to use the word sitzenpinkler.
