This must’ve been before his conscious got locked up in a box. In fact, giving away $200 was probably what led to his conscious getting locked up in the first place or else it’d have bankrupted him.

Everyone is saying how kind rat is. This was in the beginning of the strip. A lot of characters hadn’t been fully defined yet. He was quite kind to pig then too
