Mom: Am I a bad mom? Should the baby be going to day care? Is my baby eating right? Will he make nice friends? Will he get into a good school?
Dad: Should I show the baby the "Star Wars' Movies in order or skip the prequels altogether?
a new hope (as it’s now called) is the best! empire and return are okay. except the last scene where they show the young face on the Darth image. why would Obi Wan have the old aged face and Darth the young man face? makes no sense (except to tie it in to the prequels – which is a waste of time).
Skip the prequels at first, but keep them on hand for an object lesson when he gets older.“See son, this is what George Lucas was able to create when he was working under deadlines, budget constraints, and had all kinds of people forcing him to do things he didn’t want to. And THIS is what he created when he had complete freedom to do what he wanted and no one who dared tell him otherwise.”“So yeah, my house, my rules. It’s for your own good, kid.”

My wife and i are expecting and i was thinking the same thing. I decided to show the 1977 Star Wars then follow it up with the Episodes 1-6 in order.
