Scott — Kudos for spelling “Foreword” correctly. I’ve seen the “forward” of a book too many times to count. I realize that nowadays, average Americans are illiterate, but writers and editors should know better.

Rubbish. ‘Forward’ and ‘foreword’ are two separate words. Night-guant, ummm yes forward is a correct spelling of a word, but not the word which means “an introduction or a preface to a book, usually written by another author”. That word is correctly spelled “foreword” as luckylouie wrote.
