RE: Pelican. I thought that the pelican was standing on a path of rocks that someone had laid out in sand or dirty ice. I didn’t even see the crocodile until my 3rd viewing.

Frog Blog: let it be noted that the FLDS church had nothing whatever to do with the Salt Lake-based LDS Church, which disavowed the practice of polygyny over 120 years ago, and has never condoned the abuse of children. Jeffs is a twisted individual and an evil; the similarity between the names of his “church” and the mainstream Latter-day Saint faith is unfortunate.

That Warren Jeffs thing on the blog was one of those where I couldn’t bear to click on the link for the full story. That stuff is by no means limited to the FLDS, of course. In recent years there’ve been some shocking revelations regarding child rape and verbal and psychological oppression of women in Amish communities. Gentle folk, my a$$.

You know, it’s 10:30 p.m., Japanese time, Saturday night, and no Frog Applause. Gotta love GoComics.
