Swedish Alpo balls?
Bork, bork, bork!
It’s just Mock Swedish, remember! The Chef said so once.
I don’t think I’ve seen that one, but then I suppose it could be worse. For example you could get the loser of those Chopped challenges.
there’s lots of Swedish Chef videos on You Tube. I can’t seem to get a link here that works. Forgot how funny he was
Maybe the Swedes have a healthy sense of humor.
For another thing, “The Muppet Show” wasn’t a “children’s show”; it was written for general audiences, like the old Warner Brothers cartoons.
Actually I do recall one episode where “because of complaints about the mock Swedish” the chef spoke in mock Chinese!
I never could understand the Swedish Chef. Even when he spoke mock Chinese. Bork!
For what it’s worth, in the Swedish broadcasts of The Muppet Show Chef is still Swedish. (In the German versions, he’s Danish.)
I always thought the Swedish Chef was a tribute to Ernie Kovak’s Miklos Molnarhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8ZnSj0WACs
