Ribbit, Ribbit, Ribbit.Ribbit, Ribbit.Ribbit.We have rifftoff. Froggy has plunked his magic twangier and is on his way to meet some space people and tell them, “Hi, ya, kids. Hi ya! Hi ya! Hi ya!” (those of us that listened to the old Philco radio On Saturday mornings {in the late 40’si} should recognize the punch line.)
Us “Old Seadogs” remember Smile’n Ed McConnel fondly. I used to listen every Saturday morning down at the tugboat dock in Providence R.I. with my Uncle, Capt Ed.

Woody, this was a TV show on Sunday mornings in the early 50s. After Ed McConnell died Andy Devine took over.
