Let’s try to get the right thing done. Wa all know “Lila” is a good (funny, thoughtful, challenging and relevant) strip.
Without putting down other strips, I think “Lila” is among the very best. Yet many papers don’t carry it. A letter-writing campaign isn’t out of line – it’s a good idea. (FYI, I’ve never met JWF, though I’d like to.)
Denver Post, Akron Beacon Journal, Cleveland Plain Dealer and others: Please run “Lila”. PLEASE!
Lila was in the LA Times briefly. I don’t know why they dumped it, but that’s why I’m reading it here. I like comics that are well-written AND well-drawn.
