Yes, leave the kid alone. Put her lunch in the frig. Let her go out to play with nothing else to eat. In two or three hours she’ll like macamoni a lot better.

Gotta Be KD … so Elly must have bought the ‘no name’ brand stuff. The problem with it, is that the NO NAME stuff requires milk, or the cheese doesn’t dissolve properly… KD you don’t need ANY liquid other than what’s in the noodles. It’s the only stuff I can eat, due to lactose problems… though the cheese causes me issues, but not near as bad.

Any box mac & cheese = badHomemade = good, with a little ham or hotdog even better

Kids have preferences too and she may not be hungry enough to eat now. Try again later with the same food. And keep her in – don’t let her hit up the neighbors.

If she really doesn’t like it and you make her eat it, you may get it back in partially digested form.

Me LOVE mac ’n cheese! Always did, even KD. (mom mixed it with tuna or weiners sometimes.)

Children should be allowed to dislike foods.Adults are allowed food preferences, why shouldn’t children have the same rights?

Sometimes I had to do the cooking, and the kids thrived on Macorolni, cheese and chopped hot dogs.
