The power of a good teacher—makes a difference for life!

Lets see, right now I am teaching a required New Mexico History course, without books, in overcrowded classes, all due to budget cuts. Nah, we don’t need more money for education. Oil companies will suffer.

Sad, the only Hate I see here is from a teacher! I see a teacher in this strip who cares, Their far and few in between now days.

Encouragement is good, but sound teaching is better.

I love the analogy. The student is the flower and the teacher is the water pitcher helping the flower blossom. Absolutely beautiful.

You know, I totally understand what you were going for here, but the teacher is drawn in a subtly different style from everyone, not to mention always with that weird smile, to the point that I can not see and the flower as a metaphor for anything other than his penis.

Real teachers DO want to see you succeed and it makes coming to work worthwhile for them and knowing that they are making a difference. It takes intellect and diligence to do good work.
