Sure Ariail, get the Feds to give more money, tax the rich, spend, spend, spend.Where the hell do you libs think all this money is coming from ? I’ll tell you where, from my wallet and I damn sure ain’t rich. After retiring from one job I had to go tork to pay my property taxes so tell me , when do I get a break. Are you and the other libs gonna pay my son’s college tuition, probably not, huh?
Am I going to pay your son’s college tuition…? Did I decide to have him? If he’s attended public schools I believe I have already kicked in enough to educate him — and — I believe you have been receiving chunky “tax credits” yearly (for him) that came out of “my” taxes! Quit your whining!__I’m not retired… and don’t think I’ll ever be able to retire. I work, and pay taxes just like you but I expect that those taxes will go to support the likes of FEMA when a disaster strikes. Yep! Even if the house they save is yours.__I know exactly where “all this money” is coming from… I’m just not whining about it.
Totally stupid cartoon. Arial doesn’t have a clue as to what is going on in Washington. NONE of the Republicans are advocating cutting FEMA funding. They want to cut really, really stupid funding like the EPA, ethanol, wind and solar subsidies, etc.
Where were Rep Cantor’s “Ideas” when President Bush went on a spending spree and refused to pay for it appropriately with taxes on his buddies in the oil industry etc. here’s a chart to show you how National Debt has increased over different Presidents http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_debt_by_U.S._presidential_terms
__Really? That’s why the self-satisfied Pachyderm is labeled “Spending Cuts”… right? More proof…? Even I know that “righty IS tighty” (good fit in this particular ‘toon ) and it’s obvious that he’s pulling on the wrench to close the flow of funding/water..Ariail tried hard to make it easy for you to understand but I guess you still just couldn’t “get it”.
During the years of Bush 2, Cantor did not vote against bills increasing the deficit and the national debt. For all those wanting to cut spending, lets be specific.
The worst time to tax the wealthy is when we’re fighting two wars started for their economic benefit. The worst time to fund FEMA and provide disaster relief is after disaster strikes (and those silly folks trained to deal with it “waste” the money we spent on training.). Did Boehner actually “pass through” Cantor???
Yes, let us spend responsibly. Instead of hurting the poor, sick, and elderly lets get rid of the bridges to nowhere, pork barrel projects, conflicting programs, and shave some off the self voted pay raises and six figure disposable incomes at taxpayer’s expense while we are at it. If we are expected to bite the bullet, then they should also.

It all boils down to mispending by fema in the years past. lots of funds went to people who did not need it. Just plan bad decisions.
