Awww. Don’t sugar-coat it, Lio. Say it loud and say it proud! I swam with the sharks!

I think it’s Ly-O, but I’ve been wrong before. Want me to name some of the times?

It’s easy to get sharks to leave you alone, just tell ‘em you’re a banker, and they’ll back off out of professional courtesy.,

As long as he doesn’t jump the sharks… then all will be good!

This cracked me up, but especially because my gf’s 9 year old son did something similar. The day of the earthquake, they were at the beach. He didn’t feel anything in the water but the people on the beach did. Dolphins were swimming close to the shore (they sensed it, maybe?) She went to get him to tell him they were leaving, and asked if he noticed the dolphins. He said, “I thought they were sharks.” “Why wouldn’t you leave the water if you thought they were sharks?”“I thought they were FRIENDLY sharks!”

Nice tone down. Otherwise the teach will be havin’ nightmare’s and it’s still September! Lio likes to pace himself with the horror in his life.

@chikuku and @Tom MurphyYou both took the words right out of my mouth. Guess that’s the downfall of reading the comics at night (not always being able to say stuff before others) …

If I were Mark Tatulli, I’d have the next panel show the teacher reading his essay with the same mental image he had.

I thought it was Spanish and the accent mark on the “I” just slipped out of place, just like many Spanish writers let it slip. I like the Long vowel “OH” idea.
