I am guessing that Rerun is still a few years away. I seem to recall that Charlie Brown had similar concerns about the world after Sally was born.
Almost 50 years later, things haven’t changed much in that regard.
Rerun first started to appear sometime in 1972.
Imagine if you were a baby born today, Lucy.
Awwwwww, Don’t worry Lucy!

I wonder if that brick wall they’re always leaning on is still there after all these years.
What if it’s an old baby?
@Reidha: It is, but now it has coils of razor wire.
And as Frank Zappa once sang, “There’s no way to delay that trouble coming every day.” (I wonder if Schroeder was into Zappa?)
Now! That’s why they don’t buy them computers for the first two years.
The world will always be turmoil, but couples still have all these babies.
Why do you think that they now recommend that babies not be exposed to video screens for the first two years? Those screens might have news on them. Or worse, the Internet version of news.
Not show babies newspapers for the first two years?! What about the comics section?!
as apropos today as it was back then. we miss you sparky…
No newspapers for the first two years? How do they housebreak them?
No, it’s proven scientific evidence of how we are screwing this planet!
