It’s not only that people died on that day – it’s the horrible way they died – I will never forget that people who routinely woke up to go to work were, a few hours later, faced with the horrible choice of either jumping from a high building or being burned alive
Thank you, Mell Lazarus, for remembering all the good people who died on September 11, 2011. America will never forget! God bless you and God Bless America and all allies!
“World trade center disaster”?? It was a TERRORIST ATTACK on our nation. Are we trying to not offend a terrorist or are we trying to re-wright history.
I am sure Mell meant no disrespect in his tribute to 9/11 and was only sharing his feelings. For Heaven’s sake people! Appreciate that he tried to share his respect and sentiments about 9/11 and stop griping about how he called it or what he forgot. I am sure he used the WTC symbols as a collective symbol for all things 9/11. If he chooses to do that, there is no disrespect intended for the other areas affected by that day. It is a 1-panel comic. Geez! Get off your high horses and appreciate someone trying to share their patriotism.

I think the twin towers really represents all three areas that were affected, as was the rest of this country and most of the world.

With all due respect, Mel …
“disaster” ? ? ?
The Titanic sinking was a disaster. The Joplin tornadoes were a disaster.
9/11 was an attack.
