@ladyfingers86—I’m actually kind of startled to read your statement. I’ve never actually met anyone or even heard of anyone who genuinely believes that these TSA practices protect us from anything.
@tcayer Thank you for saying what has been going through my mind as I read this strip and the comments. Definitely not very humorous as we remember the horror of this date 10 short years ago.
No, it’s not funny to think we’re doing all of these byzantine antics to ‘protect’ us. How many terrorists have been caught by all these invasive procedures? I guess I missed the memo that required us all to don sackcloth and ashes and wail about what happened on 9/11. Pearl Harbor remembrances never got this out of hand – or we’d still be at war with Japan!
Chips would be able to track everyone, except the illegals and terrorist who have figured out they don’t want to be identified and are not going to sit still while a chip is put in their body. We can’t seem to find the illegals now, let alone put a chip in them.
Government will probably think it was a good idea, like a bridge to nowhere.
SOS (S—t on a shingle), which is the classic military term for creamed chipped beef on toast, is always good for a laugh. (Although applying the idea to humans gets me thinking about Soylent Green). And the strip is funny, as you say. Sorry for my failure to express appreciation for your contribution.

What would you expect from someone who doesn’t seem to be able to write a coherent sentence?

I thought for four years that it was the only thing served for breakfast in USMC messhalls.

Federal building security began in earnest after Oklahoma City in 1995. It was increased after 9/11.

Fear is a strange brew, especially when steeped too long, it becomes TEA.
