Good morning, Locos! I’m on the road trip of road trips. Today we started at Klamath Falls, OR where we spent 4+ hours doing demos then drove to Yreka, CA (went right by 14,000’ Mt. Shasta) and did another 4 hours of demos and then back to Medford, OR. Got a free air show in Klamath Falls as the F-15 jets were buzzing in & out of the Air National Guard base there. Went out to diner and just got back to my room. Grueling, but it was
GRITS!Tomorrow is the most scenic part as we do a demo here & then go to Crescent City, CA while driving through a part of the Redwoods, then up the coast to Coos Bay, OR.HI, Marg!
Went out to the parking lot at lunchtime, had to borrow a company vehicle to go to lunch because my battery was dead. After lunch, one ofthe guys jumped the Blazer and so far, so good, but I backed into the driveway tonight after work, just in case it’s dead again in the morning and I need another jump. I hope it’s just a dead cell in the battery and not the alternator or starter switch.
Just got back from a swim in the lake the temp has gone down 6 degrees since we went on our trip, so it is now 66. It was a nice way to end some bank weeding.
Dry, I don’t think that it would be the starter switch. In my (limited) experience, if that goes then the car won’t do anything except click when you turn the key. If the alternator is the problem, then the battery would be dying/dead as soon as you turned the car off. If it is the battery, then leaving the car turned off for a day or even a few hours would prevent it from starting, but it would start if the car had just been running. I had an adventure like that just a few months ago, I got lucky and it was the battery. Hopefully you do too.

They may not be poor, but they also can’t afford really nice things. Not that I’m complaining. As a kid, I was very easily amused.

Well, one example is that I was coloring last night. The crayons weren’t very good though…
