Don’t ever get a monkey for a pet!! Cats will housebreak. Rabbits will housebreak. Even horses can figure it out. Monkeys will not housebreak!! Plus they stink.
I have zero understanding on why someone would want a monkey. As mentioned in the above comments you can’t potty train them which means for the life of the monkey you’re either cleaning up it’s nasty messes (since they climb, these could literally be anywhere!) or changing its diaper. Besides wild animals should live in the wild
