You know, my car doesn’t actually have a place to plug in a phone charger, but that doesn’t look like a ’91 Honda Civic.

OK, I’ve been biting my tongue…..

If the car does have a lighter socket, and Claire has a car charger, it would be truly stupid to leave it home for a trip to a cabin without amenities….. ….so just charge the phone!!!

There’s nothing wrong with the engine, only the tire.

I’d wonder more about why all 4 people in today’s strip are so sure there’s a signal way out there.

And yes, as someone said yesterday, you might not even need it if you just unload the trunk and fix the flat!

The trunk is only part of the carload they’ve packed twice already, so it’s not an impossible task.

    But…… what I wonder is…..

they were driving along when there was a “clunk” and the tire went flat.

And now they’re across the road, on the shoulder facing the wrong direction.

    How did they get there?

Did Paul keep driving on the rim? Did he ruin it?

    THEN they might need AAA.

    Sigh….

I hope we are not still on the ‘batteries versus batterys’ thing. both can be correct spelling but our military folk know that cannons and missiles are fired from batterys while batteries often power the launch mechanism. or cell phones.

@Susan, Wow, somebody got too much coffee today. Notice that the road has a fence along the side they were travelling. The pull-off area is on the opposite side, which is where they are. Some of today’s cars do not have a lighter. And one assumes she brought the “car” recharger and not just the “house” recharger for her phone. Some of today’s cars do not have a spare tire. They have a can of spray that is supposed to “gum up the hole” in a tire. That assumes the hole isn’t too large.Uh Oh, my caffeine load is fading fast. I’m getting so tir…….

    LOLZ

I agree with you Susan especially the tire in the trunk, the other day he clearly stated there was a tire, so just fix it already, and other people lighten up, Susan’s just having fun with the strip :)

I think the problem is that neither of them knows how to change a tire.
