How can bucky be so ignorant of pop culture and so informed about issues and science?

I mean even watching the news for west nile your gonna see a batman movie commercial….

FYI, Satchel did blow his stack several years ago and gave Bucky a good scare, but soon things went back to the good old same old, same old. I’ve stopped reading this strip again, because in my humble opinion, it always the same old, same old with only Philip-Glass like variations. And try as I might, I usually can’t endure Glass for more than a few minutes. I should have stopped reading “Get Fuzzy” before slogging through all that fish-flavored cereal while eating breakfast.

Come on Satchel, lunge at him! Lock him in a treat cooler! You’ve done both before! Channel the spirit of the Batman and engage!!!!!

Wait. Bucky was right. Batman IS insane. “Criminals killed my parents so I must dress as a giant bat and beat them up, all of them everywhere.” Not the most rational decision there. (Yes, yes I’ve seen the movies and read the comics and know he has reasons for the Halloween costume … but it’s still not rational.)

You guys are really spending time commenting about a comic strip of a dog and cat with issues of rational thinking and limited anthropomorphisms???

Just wait till Bucky finds out that Catwoman is an arch villain.
