Dear mr celardo, please do not show tarzan running with a knife in his hand in tomorrows strip. It is very dangerous, even more so than running with a pair of scissors or petting strange dogs (because you dont know where they have been). I am afraid that young people might get the impression that it is ok and thus tarnish an almost flawless morally upstanding strip. In closing, (and i know this message is late) thanks for the drawing of that beautiful bird on the forest floor, in the jan 27th strip:) I plan to redraw in color and give it to my aunt for valentines day.

Old Navy Quartermain: Looks like Tucson gave me an edge on you this morning. You must be sleeping in.

Panning out just the way I predicted yesterday—-next up: jungle rescue, or jungle chase! Now where are N’Dolo (remember him?) and his lazy fellow pygmy buddies?

Too much dancing and drinking Tusker beer for the Gurus to be at their full evil potential! This is what happens when you stray from the path of your purpose. Good day to all tribe mates!

As a matter of fact, what was the name of that old song that was very popular in the 40s? I cant identify it. It is a song with no words and is played by the brass section. Its a slow song for couples and in movies, it is usually danced by ww2 era military and their spouce or honey’s at the end of the night in the ball.

Did any of you other Tarzan fans happen to see “The Argyle Sweater” comic today?

That N’Dolo pygmy patrol stopped dead in their tracks once nightfall came upon them, fearing the “evil spirits” that come out in the dark. Well, it’s daylight now and one would expect some kind of assistance from them….it shouldn’t require 6, or 7 of them to guide Tarzan to the Gurus, so why all the extra “pygmy power”?
