I seldom go to the East part of the valley and had to go there on an errand. I left the map I printed at home and it was rather out of date. I “knew” the place I was going was near the “end” of the 202 so just followed it – it had been completed into a loop so I wound up many hours later back where I first connected (just further south). I finally figured it out and got back to where I wanted to go.
Most scenic route? Wow, let’s see. A train trip from Nogales, AZ to Mexico City, 2 day trip, LONG time ago; the length of the Niagara Parkway; Dover to Ocean City, MD; the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River, and of course, the Laurel Highlands.
My mother went to school to find a brand new sweater that my younger sister left. While getting out the lost and found box the teacher was complaining about how many articles of clothes that the students left. Almost all of them belonged to my sister (she is very small, few other children are her size).
Most scenic route From Detroit Michigan to Seattle via the Southern States and then up the west Coast. Took about a week, but I saw so many things I love that trip but could never take it again. Gas would kill me

One time I went to visit my sister, and the directions were a LITTLE confusing. Needless to say, I turned a 3 hour trip into 8 hours! lol

Most scenic route? Kangamangus Highway in NH. Actually, pretty much any route through NH.
Dry – did you happen to visit Boldt Castle while in the Thousand Island area? That was a day well spent for me. Very nice.
