Or do what the state legislature of Connecticut did some years ago – hold a state constitution-mandated public referendum on instituting a state income tax, have it overwhelmingly rejected, institute the state income tax anyway, and immediately vote yourselves pay raises.

Typical business, fire reduce pay to those that make the business the money and use that savings to give raises to those that don’t.
Then we have some that wonder why our economy is so poor.
