Do you think the Pennys got their chairs from Vlad’s Furniture Store? And I am so heartened that they have such a grand view of hospitality. They don’t count out each favour and micro-measure each response, they simply enjoy one another’s company. How refreshing! And as to Burl’s tee, does this mean that he has his new video system set up in the guest bath?

Monical’s Pizza is a local chain of pizza places that started here in IL. There are Monicals all over IL and IN. They have decent pizza. Here’s their website. http://www.monicalspizza.com/We have one in my town, Chillicothe.

Good morning leaky and Susan, (when she shows up.) At least when you eat Micky D’s at the Penny’s, you know the food is good.

We’re having our Halloween coffee today at 9:30 AM, MST. Drop in if you’re in the neighborhood. Joy asked if she could bring something. Don’t worry, I told no, that we were fine.

I can’t find the ‘cherry’…

Be sure you hide the good silverware, Marg…. I mean even the decent stainless. And the best plastic.

Yeah, I had to Google Monical’s even before I read the comments. Named after the Monical family.

Some reviewers call it great, but they admit they grew up on it, and warn that full enjoyment of it requires a liberal basting with …..ugh…. Monical’s own red French salad dressing (!!??)

Does the pink heart say “Miss Monical” barfed here?

The To Do list seems to say “Have the gang D over” instead of “over.”

And I notice she leaves the receipt in her purse when it’s just McDonald’s with coupons.

Last — I don’t see no stinkin’ cherry — not in the McDonald’s arches either.

Other than the earring, nothing resembling a cherry. Of course if the magnifier really magnified, that would help. Never heard of Monical’s Pizza either.

Well after treating them to Monical’s pizza, i think you still owe them big time. I’d rather eat KFC than that or anything on the McD’s menu.

Morning, All

I finally see some finials. Thank you, Susan, for alerting me to the finial watch. We’re having big storms down here in central Florida, and I lost a finial from a 4×4 fence post. Now I know what it was that I lost. (OK, I promise never to use that word again, unless it’s really necessary.)

Oh, and I’m surprised more people don’t barf there.

I’m wondering if this has as much to do with Burl’s saying they “MADE” Monical’s pizza. They probably baked cheap-o frozen pizza and tried to pass it off as pizzeria pizza….

I bet they removed all those little prize tags from the Mc D’s before they served it up. I won a medium fry today!

Where I live in SW PA, DeTorre’s Pizza is the best. The crust even melts in your mouth!

And Ray — somehow I don’t think that’s going to be the finial word on the subject.

BTW, I enlarged the strip about 400 times, and the black blobs on neither the arches.nor the phone cord were cherry shaped, to my eye.

Those have always been the diningroom/kitchen chairs for the Pennys, but they often are missing finials. Magnification did not result in a cherry or a wheelchair symbol either. I never eat at any fast food since watching “Food Inc”, and only use whole grains and organic meats. It has benefitted my health and weight ;-)

I was busy all day…… closing up for Someting here in Illinois we call….. ’WINTER"….I did look for the Cherry…SORRY….could not find either……. .YOU guys covered “The Dinnette Set” very well…. SO…. “Good night” Crustwoodians……… ! ! !
