āIāll Never Find Another Youā has been going through my head for two days now. Iām going to sue Teresa. I donāt dare click on āGeorgy Girl.ā Too late, just typing the title did it for me. āā¦thereās another Georgy deep insideā¦ā Oh Lord, who will deliver me from this bondage?
āSCHADENFREUDEā may be my favorite word (with more than four letters), and the photo in the Blog is the funniest example Iāve ever seen. And Old Wolfās photo is the best (and only) pun on the word that Iāve ever seen/heard. Nice going, Teresa and Wolf.
@Ray & @Hugh: Thanks for the hat-tip. This one came to me one night in a fit of strangeness, and I had to get it into graphic form. Iāve always liked it myselfā¦
The link to the rooftop wind farm article is not working, nor can I find any such article on the site. So itās hard to check the maths without knowing the specs of the system. But typically a small wind gen might have a 2kW peak, might generate 600kWh/month (depends on wind resource in your area). Which per year would be 7200kWh, not the 1500 suggested. If you add in the fact that feed in tariffs in most areas are usually higher than the 12c quoted, I would expect a payback in less than 10 years. Less of course if feed in tariff rises, as it is expected to do with world energy demand putting pressure on supply. These are totally back-of-envelope calculations. On the other side of the envelope are doodles of Teresa doing xxxxxxxxxx with a xxxxx.

Mmm, daikon. Delicious when fresh ā the perfect compliment to a nuru-nuru bowl of natto!

Mild daikonicity=mediocre gifting? But itās a big āun! Thar she blows, Capān! So, itās a whale of a gift, I conclude!
