Love it, esp. the teeny treat bag.

Gosh! Where did Lio build it? It’s too big for Dad’s house.

(BTW, The Buck Rogers in the 25th Century comic strip did a football-playing version of this decades ago!)

I wonder how he gots that robot. Funny :)

Lio’s costume is so cool, those people are clearly stunned with envy!

Right on Lio. I love this strip cause all my kids (still) have personalities like Lio’s.Thank Goddess I am nothing like Lio’s Pop. Poor kids had a real hard time freaking me out though. IF they did, I managed to hide it. Well, most of the time.

Looking at Lio piloting that thing, I can’t help thinking about Pinky and the Brain.

I think there is a sort of poignancy to this strip. He worked so hard to have a great costume, but it’s scaring everyone away before he gets his trick or treat candy. His face in the big panel seems to be asking forlornly ‘Hey, where did everybody go?’, while he stands there alone holding an empty bag.

That bag is small only relative to the robot. It’s actually as big as Lio! (What kid hasn’t dreamed of a loot bag as a person!!)

I guess Lio never read “War of the Worlds!”
