It’s so peaceful at Danae’s house. I like it.

Duct tape and WD-40 — the universal tool kit. If it moves and shouldn’t — duct tape. If it should move and doesn’t — WD-40.

Initially, I thought the duct tape was Danae’s evil grin stretched out wide and to the breaking point, with lots of little spiky teeth inside. I like my visual better.

@Dogsniff- you left out the fourth element of the kit- FLARES! Expect one momentarily.

@ Luckylouie- Good one. Send it (and a couple cases of WD-40) to Congress- they need it. Toss in some Ex-lax and my Grandmom’s chili and we might see some movement in Washington, (My apologies for making a political comment here; I’m not taking sides- the whole lot seem brain-dead and thought-constipated.) If the “little children” shall lead, I’ll take Danae and Kate over any of the other current choices,

Why is Danae’s father raking the leaves? When I was a kid, it was MY job to do that.

It’s what little girls’ dads do. It was my job too as a kid, and back then we raked them to the curb and if it wasn’t too windy, lit ‘em up. I still remember the smell. No girls allowed- too risky. Back then it wasn’t politically incorrect to open doors or buy flowers, though. It was expected.

I wouldn’t like to be around when the excremental effluvia come into sudden and violent contact with the motorised air circulation device – as the inevitably will when Danae figures out that Kate is pulling her chain.
