Ah, fun childhood memories.

My favorite place in the world in the fall—Harvard. I wait until all the leaves are down and then scrunch scrunch scrunch all over campus.

Unfortunately it takes me 8 hours to get there from where I live, but some things are worth it.

And don’t forget the wonderful scent of the leaves. The best ones are the beech tree leaves. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I remember raking huge piles of leaves, then my friends a I would all jump in them. Then we’d rake up another pile and keep repeating the process. It was fun, but boy did we get dirty doing it! It was bathtime when that was over.

I notice she became a kid again…
