That’s why some people who play fetch with the dog use a specially designed stick to pick up and throw the ball.

I’ve held a doggie wet ball before..

It’s not pleasant.

My dog loves the slobber up the ball… but it’s not any effort to end the game—quite the opposite! She lives for fetch (lab… what can I say?). Thank goodness for the ChuckIt.

My Dachshund plays the same way :)

Snoopy knows just how to get out of a doggie game. He’d rather be shooting down the Red Baron,or imitating vultures,and being Joe Cool.

My dog does the same except he never brings it back
