At first I misread that and thought it was Bucky in the puddle (as in, a growing red one). That makes this strip a bit darker than I think it was supposed to be!

On a side note, the window doesn’t look hammered. Did Rob open the window for them? Or did Bucky actually use the hammer nonviolently to pry open the window?

Yes! He actually did it! I was afraid it would end with the Buckster admitting defeat, or the arc would just quit.

I wondered how this strip would end.

His Batcat brain was never okay to begin with, and it seems safe to say that a change in his demeanor would cause few of his housemates any real regrets. Love seeing the outside of their residence, by the way – that’s a breath of fresh air after so many months of indoor strips.
