No, it’s not true. Annie doesn’t have a bookie; she is a bookie!

Is it Annie that has “trouble distinguishing right from wrong”, or the rest of us?

People have trouble distinguishing “right and wrong” from “what we’d like and what works”.

Perhaps she has trouble distinguishing right from wrong in that she adheres to the philosophy of “the ends justifies the means”. Usually stems from a desire for good, or for justice, but then all hell breaks loose.

No, Lila. A Terrible mother wouldn’t know if Annie has a bookie or not.

Quick offer her a job securing the schools computer network!

Annie is a bookie, but is too young to officially gamble, so she has a bookie to place the bets on her behalf.

Annie does not have trouble distinguishing right from wrong. She has a different value system.
