Quite resourceful, for a vindow vasher! Even used the left-over letter-bits to fashion himself some false fangs to aid in mastering the dialect (which appears to be an odd sprig of Hungarian, Dutch, and German roots)!
Justin’s extra touches add immeasurablly to the gag and to his art.I love the way the speech balloon stays wrinkled and out of position in the last panel. And vhat else vould the door mat say but “velcome?”
Sorry the new one isn’t up yet, I thought I had uploaded it. It’ll be up in a few minutes, and I’ll re-post it again tomorrow in case anyone missed it. BTW, I had never heard of this ‘gag’ before I did this. I didn’t know it was an old bit. But it did have a nostalgic, jokey, vaudeville kinda’ feel to me so that’s probably why I dresses the guy like that.
