Any 4 year old can write a symphony. Getting some one to appreciate it , is the hard part.

It wouldnā€™t happen to be Beathovenā€™s Birthday today, would it? I guess Iā€™ll find out @ Peanuts when I get there.

Beethovenā€™s birthday is Dec. 16, one week from today. Now I will listen to Beethovenā€™s ā€œSonata no. 8 Pathetique ā€“ 2nd Movement in A flat majorā€ in honor of all these ā€˜stinky punsā€™, or is it sticky buns?

The look on his face in the last panel suggests he may NOT be toilet trained at 6. Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s confusion or shame.

Hope he does not toilet train himself by sitting on the record by mistake. Records are not used much anymore.

Calvin, your toilet training was a moving experience with an appreciative audience (Mom). Which movement did you compose first?

Donā€™t think theyā€™re talking about either Beethoven OR Mozart. Mozart was indeed a child prodigy but his first symphony was written in 1764 when he was eight years old, not four. He WAS composing from the age of five, but not symphonies.

Maybe theyā€™re listening to Meowzartā€¦ In human years, he wouldā€™ve been playing piano at 21, and composing at 28!
