Janis exclaims to Arlo, "I called about the used piano. It's an old one!" Arlo says, "That could be good!" Janis says, "But it has ivory keys." Arlo continues, "Like you said. It's old.." Janis replies, "I know-- But poor elephants.." Janis yells, "I don't this! You know what I'm saying!?"

Although ivory keys have a cool antique factor, the sad truth is that most pianos with ivory keys — ignoring Janis’ predicament — are simply too old, and virtually unplayable. More trouble than they’re worth.
