…and the left wing are crying racism in order to buy votes of minorities (hispandering) not because they care but because they want to remain in power. How is that any better? It’s not racism to expect people to be legal residents in order to remain in the US and receive taxpayer funded benefits like schooling simply because the majority of those residing illegally happen to be predominantly one race. We are a nation of laws and lawbreakers have to expect consequences for not obeying them including the possibility of deportation. That said, I am not sure what direction this story is going. If it is about racial profiling, I am against that. All people in the US should be expected at some point to prove their residence to receive govt services regardless of race.

Yay, Papi to the rescue! Can’t wait to see him take this on…

As far as the U.S. being “a nation of laws”, that’ll be true when we start seeing prosecutions for torture, violations of the Constitution (Illegal wars, usurpation of powers) among our political class and prosecutions for fraud and intentional sabotage of the financial system by our investor class. Until then it’s “laws” for those in disfavor, and “lawlessness” for the ruling class… let’s not be misled.

Not to disappoint you, but I have met many liberal racists in my travels. For decades the south at their most racist was owned by the Democrats. No opinion, just a matter of history.

Go listen to Blackbird from the Beatles White Album. It’s about the Civil Rights Movement to remove all racism. You were all just waiting for this moment to arise.

yep, those “family values” folks breaking up families. Was once at a conference where the speaker said that we should ship all “illegals” back to where they came from. When I asked if we should use box cars like they did with Mexican Americans after WWII, she said that was too much like the Nazis,. I then suggested she should buy them all an airline ticket.

I have a dream, that a man be judged on the content of his character, not the color of his skin.
