    my mother once did this looking for her sunglasses…. went through her purse three times before I asked her what she was looking for and told her that they were on her head

    I love this one!! Kate didn’t know she had them on top of her head! Now only if I can see Gabby doing the same thing with her glasses! She never take glasses off in a long while!

    aircraft-engineer: Since cataract lenses are fixed focus, I still wear bifocals (but with much thinner lenses than the bottle-bottoms before) – the top for driving, the bottom for reading, and take them off for computer, music, and bookshelves. I frequently have your problem of reaching for phantoms.

    my brother used to do the same thing but it was with them hanging around his neck. he would find them when he bent over to do something.
