    I read about the aurochs in Edward Rutherford’s classic:Sarum. The prehistoric tribes in England would hunt them down, kill them, and have a BIG feast. The last of them was indeed seen in Poland in the 17th century. That is no bull.

    The goal these days is not how big an animal is, but it’s conversion efficiency, ie how many pounds of corn to produce one pound of beef.
