    Cross & crescent moon. Hmmm.

    In reaction to the deaths on the 9th of October, there was a very small National Unity march between Copts and Muslims on the 14th of October. (this is odd: I struggled to get Western press coverage of the march, not even on Al Jazeera/English. Because it was too small?)And the military, smarting at the criticism aimed squarely at their reaction on the 9th of October, enacted a new bill amending the criminal code banning discrimination based on “gender, origin, language, religion or beliefs”Sure. :-|

    Dhimmi status and the brutality of that system over many centuries forced the Coptic Christians to turn to Islam. It didn’t just happen as simply as you imply. Islam is a backward, violent social system that is masked as a “religion.”
