Obviously Peekaboo wanted to leave the counter and, by coincidence, Rose happened to say so at that moment — after all cats do what they want to WHEN they want to do it. … And Peekaboo does it with such style!(I had a cat like that, and we developed an understanding)

I’ll give Peekaboo a ‘10’ for the dismount, nine for the poses plus one for the landing!

P.S. That’s what the ‘counter’ told me to do!

The guest seems a bit leery (of Peekaboo) …wary, even (Snagglepuss)

It’s easy to train a cat. After months of diligent training, we have taught them to get down off the counter as soon as we come into the kitchen.
It does put guests out a bit when they come to a set table and there is a cat sitting on one of the plates.
(Actually, that hasn’t happened to us, but I fear it will one day.)

This is one of my few peaves with cats…there is now litter box residue on the counter…kitchen table…and possibly on plates/cups/etc. Ack!

Cats are a lot of fun to have around. They’re strange but lovable. How can anyone not love a cat!?
