Green tapioca?

Tapioca is a creamy egg custard-like sweet dessert. It sure isn’t green….Watterson screwed up.

Spaceman Spiff!!!!!!!!! It seems like it’s been a long time since we’ve seen him.

School food is never so fine as a meal cooked at home!

It all depends on who makes it. So, I agree with captainedd. Ya gotta love Calvin’s imagination.

I certainly would not have ordered it if the tapioca was green. Perhaps Calvin did specifically for that reason. Just to gross Suzie out.

hmmm actually tapioca is not a dessert, it’s just flour. What you do with it it’s absolutely up to you.

Tapioca is not flour,it is made from the root of a plant.Google it.

In my elementary school they sent us home for lunch. And we walked it, too. They did have a cafeteria. But then that was a long time ago. Things may have changed there since then.

I am fortunate enough to possess several C&H Books , and this particular one always gives me a laugh whenever I look at the books . I can remember pulling similar stunts with food just to upset my sister . That would be 70 years ago , but it is still funny . It’s nice to have such memories to ease through the passage of old age , and nice to see the reminders .

Sometimes school lunch IS like that.

we had mystery meat and swedes, bangers and mash and bubble and squeak. Somehow, I am here to tell about it!!

I’m not sure how much seat belts would help during a spaceship crash.

I just saw yesterday, on the show Good Eats, that Tapioca flour is a good starch choice for frozen fruit pie filling. Maybe not so much for pudding.

Until reading the last panel we could assume that Calvin had strayed into a public restroom.

my mom used food coloring to great effect on holidays, and my dad called tapioca “fish eyes and glue”. My sister continues the tradition.

A cafeteria that serves green tapioca,well I’m with Calvin on this one.I am not sure Susie is even my friend yet,leave alone a possible wife for Calvin or Space Man Spiff .

I’m with Calvin on this one. Second worst ‘edible’ substance there is. The only thing worse is cream of mushroom soup. Gag!
