My uncle plays the pipes and drinks. Don’t get up to see him often.

You are all wrong, I have been on a battalion exercise. 5 companies of men in fighting gear running across a field, bag pipes and the whole band. Nothing like it in the world. Man and machine. You can see and feel how the soldier can a get up and charge.

I love bagpipes! Whats wrong with bagpipes? The Black Watch was on tour here in the states several years back and I loved them! If you’ve never seen it, rent “Tunes of Glory” with Alec Guiness. Good piping!

By the time they start playing the pipes, Andy will already downed half dozen pints or more, he wont be upright anyway

I’ve heard bagpipes played and with right training sounds great. Andy you will be so drunk won’t notice good or bad how bagpipes sound.

I’ve been to Scotland and enjoy listening to the bagpipes. To each his own.

The pipe’s wot chased the British out of Scotland. Poor blighters. Thank God in our day for the Geneva convention!

I’ve never understood why people are so down on bagpipes. They can make beautiful music.
