Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for November 27, 1999
Transcript:
Nate: Mrs. Godfrey? Has my grade started going up yet? Mrs. Godfrey: Nate, that's the fifth time today you've asked me that! Mrs. Godfrey: You've got almost three months of below-average work to answer for Your grade isn't going to change overnight! After all, it takes as much time to walk out of the jungle as it did to walk in. Nate: Especially when there's a 500-pound gorilla blocking your path.

This kid is something else. I love this strip but I can get sick of Nate. He honestly thinks this is her fault because she won’t just hand him a better grade. He seems to honestly think one day of better work deserves an A
