i just relized. me and big nate have a lot in common. first, we are both 11 years old. second, we are both 4’6. third, we both have a black best friend who are good at yo mama jokes. fourth, we both have played soccor. fifth, we have both have gotten a detention (but not as many as nate and there is no detention room at my school.) thats all i can think up for now

I personally think that’s how people fall in love. Not everyone starts out as a friend, but an acquaintance you see a lot. That’s just my opinion. I’ve never had a girlfriend before, so don’t take it from me.
