women: What's new in the art room? Art teacher: Its still life week! Women: Why so many? Art teacher: Because I let the students create their own still lifes! Art Teacher: It's much more interesting than having them paint still lifes that I set up! Art teacher: This way, they're painting things that are significant to them! They take ownership of their artwork! Art teacher: It's fun for me, too! I can look at these still lifes and try to figure out what these kids are about! Art teacher: Some of them are easier to decode than others. Nate Wright: Comin' thorough' my still life needs more cheez doodles!

I just noticed that in the second-to-last panel, there’s a picture of what Nate looked like in 1991 under the picture of Nate from 1998.
