Good mornng, Leaky. Back to our diets.

Actually, I think that if you cut the bread on a diagonal, not only will you think you are getting more, you really are. Neat trick, Joy. Just wait until she figures that out and she’ll start slicing her bread as thin as Donald Duck did in (I think it was "Jack and the Beanstalk.)

    Morning all!

It’s little again! Not one with a lot of detail, so not as noticeable…..

but it’s back to the size it was before Julie intervened.

    Hope it’s temporary.

Yeah, Marg — hard to miss. Sometimes I think Julie mocks us.LOL

    GymShoe! I think it’s a GB w/ different OF!!

I posted a long reply to you late yesterday about the “music”…. in case you didn’t see it…..

And another to Dry’s last question.

And now I feel all typed out….so will end here. How unlike me… but you can all thank me later…

I think they should go on a diet of Bundy toaster-leavings.

Now she is making her own ho-hos? Between that and the sandwich loaf, seems she likes to make foods that are rolled..

My wife made her usual pumpkin rolls for Thanksgiving. I think I prefer those to homemade ho-hos.

@Mikie2: Haven’t seen that cartoon in years. Loved that one. and yes it is the one where Donald sliced his bread tracing paper thin!

Good morning Marge, Leaky, Mikie2, Sunshine, Grog, GymShoe, and the rest of the Crustwoodieans!

My first time seeing Verla’s place… Round table…. with off -center swag lamp…. .Looks like JOY and VERL put on some extra holiday pounds…. Perhaps JOYs’s “diagonal cut” would help with wieght loss…. ! ! !

About GoComics…. I still get the impression that this is an “immature” web site…..I noticed that yesterday (Sunday) once again the magnifier was working… I could “zoom” Sunday…. the Sunday magnifier had not worked since we had the last B&W experience…..So now they channged the coding to fix Sunday and also changed the coding for the rest of the week…. “One step forward.. and two steps……(you know)… backward”…..Also…. late yesterday…. lots of Crustwoodians reported having other problems navigating the site…. I wish there was another forum to discuss this…. so the discussion would not clutter our deaing with JOY and BURL…….. ! ? ! ?

Kept up with Crustwood over the holiday on my daughter’s new Kindle Fire, but couldn’t post because I’d forgotten my password!Leaky—Family wanted to know why I was cheering for LSU and I tried to explain my Crustwood family. I think I received more pity than ridicule. Should’ve kept my mouth shut.Actually ha-ha’d when I read the HoHo note today. I imagine “making” HoHos involves unwrapping them and cutting them into small pieces so as to serve a minimal number of HoHos so more may be saved.

it was bad yesterday, but this site generally is a speed slug. if they got rid of the idiot bar below, i’ll bet people wouldn’ t leave out of frustration waiting for a page that never finishes loading. i have adblock, so with no ads, that’s the only garbage-feature left.

Crazy “cooking”. I was just watching the latest Iron Chef with Flay and the challenger doing Caviar. I am disappointed that they have lost the Chairman’s vision of having champions is all different styles of cooking (even the new Next Iron Chef) which eliminated the most unique chefs very early in the game- Spike would have been my fave. And this caviar battle has none of my favorite combo with 1/8" watercress stems used, instead the ordinary chives which are not so subtle. Joy and Verl will never have any of that, but I don’t eat with them. The last sandwich loaf I did was for a birthday for one of my kids, and had many layers of my chicken salad as well as ham and others (I believe it was a train car- 2 or 3 savory then finishing with last cars of cake and icing).

Actual strip only had normal stuff, but brands seen (Hellman’s and Plastic wrap, and they have one of those ugly fabric lamps. And Verl is saving part of Ho-Hos for her BF, Jerry- nothing healthy, naturally!

I found that if you cut it in a sine wave shape, it looks like you get even more.
