I had new comics in my email this morning, but when I wanted to respond then, all I could get on her was yesterday’s comics. Anyone else have this problem?
I snowed here in Illinois….. North of Crustwood…….. ! ! !Burl best make room for the snowblower…. he will be borrowing from his neighbor…. Show Timmy how much fun it it is to operate….. ! ! !
Good morning, my fellow Crustwoodians. The surgery was successful, but I’m feeling like I got run over by a semi. Ican’t put any weight on the foot for two months, so that has lead to some creative maneuvers. I did bring a lap top to the hospital, but couldn’t get on the internet, so I played solitaire and free cell. I’m very glad to be home, hospitals are no place to get any rest! Thanks for all your good wishes!
At least now I can read ALL the comments on one page. Last week it was only 5 or so, then you’d have to refresh list to see any others. I do hope they make the comic larger again though.
Perfect, just perfect. Keep “Two Minute Snacks” and toss “F-451” and the NYT Crossword. Wouldn’t want to overburden their (two dozen) synapses, would we?
Welcome home Marg. Take the pain meds. Do the therapy. SInce you will feel like s—t anyway, take the opportunity to lose some weight. (If needed. I lost 40 since the knee.) If eating makes you ill, try Ensure; 10 seconds and it’s over.
The Khmer Rouge had a point. To end some conflicts, you have to burn all of the books & kill anyone who’s read them. Pol Pot may have read Vonnegut’s tome. It wasn’t new. “Christians” burned libraries in Alexandria & Central America.
Glad to see Marg back, and F 451 was a great book in my HS days (Bradbury I think) but I was reading a lot of Huxley and other writers of the time. Naturally the Pennys do not care about good books.

Some things just don’t stand a chance with these people.

Fahrenheit 451 is a story about trying to eliminate books! Love the irony!

Something must be up with GoComics today. There are usually a dozen more comments before I get here, and many regular Crustwoodians are MIA.

Now the logo is Frosty or a generic snowman.

Welcome back, marg!
That was great book and a great movie. Doesn’t surprise me a bit that the Pennys would toss it.
