Pig: Hey, Rat, I'd like you to meet my friend, Bob. He's a mechanical engineer... you'll have to excuse hi, though... he thinks he's missing something. Rat: Charisma? Man: My keys. Rat: My mistake. Pig: Women sure love all those pencils, Bob.
Am I nerd too? I walk around with a mechanical pen clipped to my t shirtâs collar at work. I thought I was just a working man who frequently encountered paper work and tended to break those pencils if they where pocketed.

ARGH ANOTHER BOB!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say, whatâs Bob the bag-headed croc doing today? I was hoping heâd die in an amusing way.

Why are they always called âBobâ??
Sisyphos about 13 years ago
Bob the Mechanical Engineer makes a frowny face in panel 3 without benefit of a mouth! Excellent! Pig gigs him, unwittingly (as always).

Bad Stephan!
Havenât we talked about mocking half your online audience??
(The other half is female.)
And JukeâŠ. ahemâŠ. the lead in anybodyâs pencil is an unsuitable topic for discussion in a family forum.

Hmm, an engineer who speaks without a mouth. If only someone could make that into a comic strip!

Thatâs the one great thing about the holidays: you may not have charisma or presence, but you can still have Christmas presents.

What happened to Professor Bob?
Popeyesforearm about 13 years ago
I had one of those in my hand around 1975 and couldnât muster enough nerdness to actually slip it in. Made me the man I am today. Shaddup.
theLazyCartoonist about 13 years ago
Hey, at least heâll die with a punchline.
A line from his fist to the Doctors and Nurses faces.

BOB: âYes they do, Pig. But my lack of a mouth turns them offâŠâ
tegm about 13 years ago
I actually really like engineers, but they have to be at least somewhat good looking.
