    I dunno. I think I’d take the raptor over quicksand. Slow death just doesn’t appeal to me. Crunch and munch doesn’t either, but we all know making choices is hard.

    They are toast given you can’t totally submerge in quicksand.With quicksand, the more you struggle in it the faster you will sink. If you just relax, your body will float in it because your body is less dense than the quicksand. Just google howstuffworks.

    trivia: people don’t drown in quicksand. it’s mostly water, so you’re right, they only sink to chest-deep, but the muck tends to keep one trapped in it. then they die from hypothermia.
