Caulfield: It's cool how the moon is so much bigger when it's just rising. Frazz: And yet it's not. Obviously the moon itself doesn't change size. But even the image we see doesn't change size. When it's near the horizon, it's closer to objects we're familiar with. We register the comparison and our mind distorts the scale. So, it's not even an optical illusion. It's more of a mental...what? Caulfield: I cannot believe you're dating a betty like Miss Plainwell. Frazz: If you wanted the romantic interpretation, you should have asked for it.
