I suggested to my (retired Marine) Dad, that his real objection to gays in the military was that, sooner or later, one was bound to end up designing uniforms & he’d be in ruffles & frills like some medieval French poofter. He responded, “Damn straight.”

..our vets are being isolated from society ,and society is being asked to ignore them..this is the real don’t ask don’t tell…
