I agree with the BK being the creepiest. I would scream and run if I came around a corner and met him face to face. Ronald would just get a kick in the groin from me.
A quick scan of a few pages of a Google Image Search shows Ronald and the Burger King running pretty close and way ahead of any others. The Michelin Man wasn’t there. That, of course, doesn’t invalidate anyone’s opinion.
My vote on creepiest has to be the BK King. And not even so much for his looks, it was more the situations they had him in their commercials.
I mean COME ON!!! Someone gets in their car and sees his eyes peering at them in the rear view mirror. A guy wakes up and finds him in bed next to him.
Just what the hell were the writers thinking? Or BK for buying it. I want to to know how someone would think showing someone in a creepy scene would make their food more apealing?
Yep, the BK King is the creepiest one that comes to mind for me. They need to spin their commercials based on the idea that the more Whoppers you down, the quicker The King stops haunting your nightmares.
In related news, today’s Brevity has forever ruined the Michelin Man for me.

The second creepiest corporate image of all time. (Ronald McDonald is the creepiest, lurking around playgrounds and offering people food.)

That’s a lot like some chubby little babies I used to know… They’re older now and no longer use the folds under their chins to hide formula for later…

I’m not sure how old that sandwich is exactly, but that green stuff isn’t lettuce….

Creepy, but funny. I vote for the King as creepiest I can think of now.
I know we aren’t supposed to cross-pollinate strips, but looking at the sofa, I see where Joy gets the material for her blouses (Dinette Set, 11/28).
Or is the Michelin Man the recycler?

After I saw Food Inc, I totally left fast food and now cook only my own with whole grains! They are all nasty and creepy!

And the pattern on the sofa looks like Joy’s blouse in Dinette Set.
